- Tie: when two players have the same card value, in the event of a tie, the bet is returned to the player.

- Render-se – Surrender: if the player's hand has little potential to beat the dealer, surrendering will be the best option and also gives the possibility of recovering half of the bet, instead of playing a weak hand that has a high probability of losing everything.
- Stiff: an inept hand that can go beyond its limits.
- Shoe: a term used to describe the box where the cards are kept. The dealer distributes all the cards and then they are shuffled and placed back in this location to be distributed again.
- Total Hard: when the player has an Ace in hand with a value of 1. Example: Cards 8, 9, and an Ace.
- Total Soft: in this case, the hand will have two values, the first one called "soft" in which the player can choose the value of the Ace (1 or 11) and avoid going over.
