Just under a year since the inaugural edition of The Festival Series in Bratislava, the event is set to make its return to the city. From October 10th to 16th, the festival encompasses awe-inspiring poker tournaments, roulette, blackjack, and a range of sports betting-related events.
Regarding the upcoming edition of The Festival Series in Bratislava
The organization's efforts to enhance The Festival series are evident in the upcoming third in-person edition, which follows closely after the Tallin edition. Once again, the event will take place at Banco Casino Bratislava, situated near Main Square, highlighting the commitment to its growth and development.
This time, the main attraction is the poker main event with a €500,000 guarantee, significantly higher than the €300,000 from the inaugural edition in the same city. Conversely, the buy-in for this tournament has remained at €550, aiming to gather over 1,000 participants. Attracting a larger crowd, the organizers have raised the stakes, offering a substantial prize pool to entice poker enthusiasts from far and wide. With the expectation of intense competition and a thrilling atmosphere, this event promises to be unforgettable for both seasoned players and newcomers alike.
Throughout the seven-day festival, the organizers maintained a dynamic schedule of round-the-clock activities, showcasing their commitment to creating a multifaceted event. This meant offering a variety of entertainment options, including poker tournaments, roulette tables, sports betting opportunities, and even slot machine competitions!

Way beyond poker
Poker garners more attention due to its popularity and the multitude of events at The Festival, but it's essential not to overlook the other tournaments. While they may not be as diverse, the roulette and blackjack tournaments also grab one's attention, with durations of three and two days, respectively. Despite their shorter durations, they offer a thrilling and intense gaming experience for enthusiasts.
In addition, slot machines themselves have a tournament. Unlike other games, there is no need to establish strategies for slot machines, just acquire the respective buy-in and play the rounds that are offered – typically 200 or 300. With these plays, those who achieve the highest score win the tournament.
Other activities are not left out.
Sports betting competitions are an alternative format where bettors wager against one another rather than against the house. This setup bears resemblance to exchanges such as Betfair. In these competitions, participants place their bets, and the outcome determines the distribution of winnings. This peer-to-peer betting system adds an extra layer of excitement and engagement to the betting experience, allowing bettors to directly challenge and compete with one another. By removing the traditional bookmaker from the equation, sports betting competitions offer a unique and dynamic way to engage in the thrill of wagering on sports.
Engaging in either predicting the ultimate outcome or betting on the score of sporting events, bettors utilize chips and amass points towards the ultimate leaderboard.
Slightly beyond the scope of the competitions, there are also additional activities available to the players. These include parties, cabaret shows, nightlife tours of Bratislava, billiards, dinners, wine tastings, and even a tour of the Danube. Truly, a schedule befitting seven days of entertainment awaits.
